Although we focus more on producing certain animals we still have a variety of other animals on our farm that all serve a purpose!
Quail
We are slowly growing our Coturnix Quail so we can hopefully sell both eggs and meat from them! For now we only have a couple female hens so we are not producing enough to sell yet.
Geese
We have a flock of Sebastopol geese and a couple Chinese geese around the farm. Geese serve a variety of purposes on a farm. They help guard their flocks, lawn maintenance, and occasionally egg production.
Ducks
We also have a variety of ducks around the farm, they have a wonderful pond that we have made for them. We enjoy keeping them to help keep pest control down as well as fertilizer.
Barn Cats
We have multiple amazing barn cats that help us keep rodent pest under control in our barns. They all also love to follow us around while we do farm chores!
Quinea Fowl
We only have 1 guinea fowl on the farm, her name is Athena! She plays a vital role here helping keep pest under control, occasional egg laying, and one of her favorite jobs, taking care of the chicks.
Goats
We have a small herd of goats on the farm. We will occasionally make milk and cheese from them. We also enjoy having them for our fertilizing process.
Horses
We have multiple Gypsy Vanner horses that started our love for the farm animals!
